June 2023 Hanover Happenings Update

Hi everyone this is your Town Manager Alex Torpey here with your June 2023 updates. June was a busy month! In this episode, we'll cover updates on:

• Selectboard meetings from June 5th and June 26th, where we:
  • Discussed setting rates and fees for FY24
  • Set and held a few public hearings on easements and accepting property (and more about that process)
  • Almost finalized all of the re-organization appointments for the Selectboard for the upcoming year
  • We talked about and accepted the bike/walk plan and Vision Zero Plan
  • We heard an overview from Twin pines on workforce housing
  • We set meeting dates for the summer (One Selectboard meeting per month - July 24th and August 21st) and discussed summer hours for staff (Also a separate episode)
  • We made various appointments
  • Re-apporoved funding for Campion Rink
  • Classified and re-classified several new and existing job position
  • Accepted some gifts
  • Did various other business
